We Ate Ice Cream For A Week And It Was Actually Just Really Fun

This past week, we decided to only eat ice cream in order to show its negative effects on the mind and body — but it was actually just super fun!

On Monday, over a few pints of Häagen-Dazs Mint Chocolate Chip, we soberly discussed how much potential weight we could gain from a week-long, irresponsible ice cream diet. But then we finished around six tubs and didn’t even feel that gross, so we just kept going!

On Tuesday, we were expecting to feel anxious and depressed from the previous day’s consumption, but instead we felt positive, energetic, and ready to go! In fact, we all thought there was no better place to continue our ice cream feast than a local bouncy house. Instead of developing mild depression, we just bounced around for hours as we ate Ben and Jerry’s Phish Food. No one even mentioned missing salad!

Throughout the rest of the week, we devoured Rocky Road, Cotton Candy, Peppermint, Coffee, Cookie Dough, Pistachio, Strawberry Cheesecake, and hundreds more! It actually ended up bringing us even closer together because eating ice cream is just so damn fun, alright? Surprisingly, not a single team member reported any health issues — unless having too much fun is a health issue.

Next week, we’re bravely subjecting ourselves to a Twix-only diet in order to measure chocolate’s devastating effects on body, mind, and mood.
